Concepted and art directed these images for Tacori in a still life campaign that revolves around captured moments of passion featuring their jewelry as the centerpiece. Telling a story with no words in a still life setting was a bit tricky but I think these both worked well. Photography by the masterful Raymond Meier.

<description>Urban Airship probably powers most of the apps on your smartphone. The way in which they do this is called "Good Push". Which of course needs some explaining. With monsters. This isn't just one explanation, it covers a lot of things. So instead of making one long video we decided to approach it in a series of snippets played by characters that all live on one happy planet. We had some serious budget constraints going into this so we had to rely heavily on illustration over complex animation. Thanks to the absolutely most wonderful Jennifer James Wright that wasn't a problem. She handled all the illustration while I art directed and worked with J Smith to try and come up with stories and a style that would work. The results can be seen below.

Credits: JJ Wright, Matthew Gamlen, Michael Gersten, Albert Yih, David Potter, Dom Murphy, J Smith and Ben Sellon.

<description>You can't ask for a better brief than to make art for cereal boxes based on your childhood. Tiger Flakes is a fantastic new cereal that pays respects to some of my favorite things growing up as a 80's/90's kid. Huge thanks to everyone involved in concepting and putting this show on. An amazing time!

<description>Jabberwocky has long been one of my most favorite pieces of literature. I remember the very classroom I sat in when we read it for the first time in elementary. The rhythm, the cadence, the weirdness of it all, I loved it. Well the fine folks at W+K 12 put on an amazing art show to benefit the arts in Portland Area Schools and asked me to contribute something. I had been wanting to do something with Jabberwocky for years and knew it was finally time to lay down the snicker-snack and do it up proper. Hope you enjoy this tribute to Lewis Carroll's Jabberwocky!
